Beyond the Portfolio

Web DevDevOpsPhotographyCycling

I BUILD
I OBSERVE
I RIDE

A space to build, observe, explore and record.
Technology, photography and paths through the Cerrado.
Code as a tool to create.
The camera as a way of seeing.
The bicycle as the way there.
BLASI is a little about what I do, but mostly about what I find when I step away from the screen.

Cycling to calm the mind, nature to inspire the eye, photography to capture the moment, and technology to connect it all.

CODE
THAT
SCALES.

I like understanding how things work.

Every project starts with an architecture decision, not a framework choice.

Before the code, there is an idea. Before the tool, there is a problem.

I build systems meant to exist beyond the code: applications that need to be fast, consistent and ready to scale.

Skylight

An RTL-SDR picks up the air traffic passing over Brasília. The data is processed, recorded and turned into information I can follow in real time.

The project started as curiosity and grew.

Today it has a database, aircraft history, a dashboard, voice notifications and a small infrastructure of its own to keep everything running.

Technology, in this case, wasn't the goal.
It was the way to observe something that has always been above us.

AI Support

From the first message to the CRM record.

The client arrives on WhatsApp. The AI interprets the request, handles triage, books the consultation and starts the PIX payment flow.

An entire pipeline designed to reduce friction, automate what can be automated and keep people focused on what truly requires a human touch.

Sites & Landing Pages

A good interface doesn't need to explain how it was built.

It needs to load fast, be found, communicate clearly and work well.

I build web experiences with an architecture designed for performance, SEO, maintenance and growth — without turning every new requirement into a fresh start.

BLASI - Macaws

MACAWS
IN FLIGHT.

A ballet of blue-and-yellow macaws.

Ipameri · GO · Nikon D3200 + 55–300mm

BLASI - Hummingbird

SWALLOW-TAILED
HUMMINGBIRD.

The tail seems to extend its own motion. The ochre background came about naturally, creating separation without relying on an extreme aperture.

Sometimes the composition finds the answer before the gear does.

Brasília · DF · Nikon D3200 + 55–300mm

BLASI - Boa

BOA
ON THE BRANCH.

The camouflage was almost perfect. The boa stayed still in the fork of the yellow ipê until a movement gave it away among the branches.

In nature, observing is part of photography too.

Cerrado · GO · Nikon D3200 + 55–300mm

BLASI - Jacamar

JACAMAR
UP CLOSE.

Getting closer revealed details that usually disappear at a distance.

Manual focus, 300 mm and less than two meters between camera and bird. The gear was part of the equation; the rest was approach, light and waiting.

Cerrado · DF · Nikon D3200 + 55–300mm

BLASI - Burrowing owl

BURROWING
OWL.

It is almost Brasília's mascot — between open ground and low vegetation, the burrowing owl watches everything around it.

The frontal gaze turns a brief instant into a feeling of encounter.

LOOKING IS EASY.
OBSERVING DEMANDS PRESENCE.

Nature photography and software development seem like distinct worlds, but they share the same essence: perceiving before acting.

In the field, you don't force the moment. You observe, you wait, you adjust. When the light meets the scene, you need to be ready.

In code, the logic is similar. A system doesn't exist just to work; it has to handle the unexpected, find order in complexity and turn intention into something that holds up in the real world.

But BLASI wasn't born to talk only about code, photography or cycling.

It was born from the wish to create a space of my own to record what happens away from the rush: a project, a photograph, a road, an idea, a lesson.

The Cerrado and the Planalto Central are part of that path. The bicycle takes me there. The camera makes me stop. Technology helps me build and record.

Maybe that is the essence: using technology to expand the experience, not to replace it.

More time to observe.
More time to build.
More time to live.

RIDING
IS
THINKING.

I don't ride to get there first.

I ride to get out.

Out of the apartment. Leave the car behind. Change the pace. Find a road I don't know yet, a landscape that would usually go unnoticed.

It's exercise, commuting, discovery and time.

Just me and myself.

I ride today to stay away from the pharmacy tomorrow.

No competition. No podium. No rush to turn every kilometer into a result.

Just the bike, the road and a few hours to live.

THE NAME
THAT CAME
BEFORE ME.

BLASI isn't a name made up for this project. It's my surname.

It came from Italy with my grandfather, Salvatore Blasi, and took root in Brazil.

I never had the chance to meet him, but I grew up surrounded by the marks of a story that began long before me. Over time, I came to understand the surname not only as something I received, but as part of what I carry forward.

This space carries the BLASI name also as a way of saying thank you.

Not to tell the whole story.

Only to remember where it began.

I received the name. What I do with it is the part that's mine to write.

NEXT
PATH.

A system to build.
An idea to get off the ground.
A photograph to share.
A conversation about the Cerrado, technology, or kilometers ahead.

It can be a project. It can just be a good conversation.
